I found the blog to be very interesting. The author made an interesting point that blogging is just as important as a newspaper or social media news. Blogging is also used widely for fun, media, or news. I also agree that an author needs to be careful about what they blog about, regardless if it is their personal views. I think it was crazy that there was a Ku Klux Klan blog! There is also major differences in blogs versus newspapers and news. Authors of blogs can be more personal than a newscaster or a person writing a section in a newspaper. My favorite quote in the blog is, “Don’t write anything you wouldn’t want your mother to read in the paper.” That is truth!
I think that people should always be mindful to what type of topic they are discussing. Sometimes it can go very wrong especially with certain topics. I look forward to reading more of your blogs!

I agree. I think blogs promoting violence, racism, and/or hatred shouldn’t be allowed. I always followed that quote when I’m posting on Facebook. After all, my mom is a Facebook friend and she will be reading it! It’s a great way to make sure I stay within certain guidlines.

I agree, it is a shame that such foolery is allowed on blogging sites. However, it is the internet and as Americans we have the right to say what we please, unfortunately at the expense to others. Smh, it’s so sad.
